Samsung is preparing a major software rollout for its wearable lineup. Following the debut of One UI 9 Watch—built on Google’s Wear OS 7—alongside the flagship Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 in July, the company is now gearing up to bring the update to older Galaxy smartwatch models.

Internal testing has been underway for some time, and the official release is expected to begin in the coming weeks. Additionally, Samsung could launch a public beta program later this month, which is traditionally limited to select newer models in the United States and South Korea.
