While the spotlight at POCO’s global launch event yesterday was naturally trained on the new flagship F8 series and the expanded tablet lineup, the company quietly dropped a crucial piece of news for millions of existing users. Alongside the hardware reveal, POCO officially confirmed the rollout timeline for POCO HyperOS 3 Upgrade, its latest interface based on Android 16.

What’s New in Poco HyperOS 3?

Before diving into the eligibility list, it is worth noting why this update is significant. HyperOS 3 is not merely a background optimization; it introduces user-facing features that fundamentally change how POCO devices operate:

  • Enter “Hyper Island”: POCO is adopting a fluid, capsule-style notification system around the camera cutout, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island. This feature will display live activities, active timers, and media controls for easier multitasking.
