Poco F8 Pro and Ultra: Launch Date Confirmed, Here Are the Expected Specs

Poco, which launched the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra in March 2025, has begun teasing its successors — Poco F8 Pro, and Poco F8 Ultra. The first official information came from Poco Hong Kong, confirming that the upcoming devices will retain the brand’s signature focus on high-performance processors but will also introduce a significant innovation.

According to the company, the F8 series will feature a “completely new acoustic design.” This upgrade, they state, is intended to provide a “smoother and more immersive gaming and multimedia experience” directly on the phone.

These initial teasers sparked speculation about an earlier release date, with some sources suggesting a December debut. However, all that speculation has now ended. A new promotional poster released by the brand officially confirms that the global launch of the Poco F8 series will be held on November 27.

Poco F8 Pro and Ultra: Expected Specifications and Rebranding Strategy

The November 27 event is expected to unveil the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra. According to existing reports, the hardware specifications will be top-tier:

  • Poco F8 Pro will reportedly be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

  • Poco F8 Ultra will use the latest and most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

As is common with Poco, it is speculated that the F8 series will be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive models—specifically, the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max. However, reports mention one potentially significant difference: it is rumored that the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra will have smaller battery capacities compared to their Chinese counterparts.

The series also reportedly includes a standard Poco F8, which may debut slightly later. This device is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, which has not yet launched in China.

In addition to the phones, the brand is also said to be working on a Poco Pad M1 tablet, which is also rumored to be a rebranded version of the upcoming Redmi Pad 2 Pro.
