Oppo F35 Series Launching in India Oct 5 with 50MP Group Selfie Camera
Oppo has officially confirmed that its next generation of camera-focused smartphones, the Oppo F35 series, will launch in India on October 5, 2026. The launch marks a decade since the Indian debut of the original Oppo F1 in 2016, a line that the company says has grown to encompass more than 30 million users.
While earlier generations pushed individual selfie technology—progressing from the F1’s 16-megapixel front camera to dual front sensors on the F3 and AI-driven 25-megapixel hardware on the F7—the new F35 series pivots toward group photography. Positioned under the “Group Selfie Expert” concept, the upcoming lineup introduces an imaging system built around a 50-megapixel ultra-wide front camera with a 100-degree field of view. The wider lens allows users to capture larger groups without stepping back, complemented by Oppo’s NaturalTone 2.0 software to deliver more true-to-life skin tones.
Video capabilities are also seeing an upgrade, particularly on the higher-tier F35 Pro, which will support 4K video recording across both its front and rear camera setups to accommodate high-resolution content creation.
The F35 Pro will be offered in brown, orange, and light blue finishes, while the standard F35 variant will launch in pink, silver, and purple. Full specifications, hardware configurations, and official pricing details are expected to be disclosed during the October 5 event.
