Xiaomi pushes HyperOS 3 (Android 16) globally

HyperOS 3

Xiaomi has kicked off the global rollout of HyperOS 3, following its September beta-tester recruitment. The company says the update is arriving in phases, with the Xiaomi 15T family first in line.

Who gets it first

Early access will land on the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro, particularly for users who previously joined the global beta program. As with most staged deployments, availability will expand in waves once initial feedback looks clean. In China, the first stable builds went to the Xiaomi 15 series and the Redmi K80 line.

What’s in HyperOS 3

Built on Android 16, HyperOS 3 delivers a lightly refreshed UI, updated core apps, and a slate of new AI features. Expect quality-of-life tweaks, tighter animations, and under-the-hood changes aimed at smoother performance and better longevity.

Rollout cadence

Xiaomi stresses that this is a phased release; not everyone will see the update immediately. If you’re eligible, check Settings → About phone → System update and keep Wi-Fi handy—these builds aren’t small.
