A new leak has surfaced online, allegedly revealing images of the OnePlus 15T and emphasizing its compact design paired with a relatively smaller display. This sighting comes amid a notable resurgence in the compact flagship smartphone segment.
Over the past few months, the market has witnessed several launches of compact high-end devices, and this trend appears to be gaining significant momentum. Numerous smaller phones are reportedly under development across the industry. A recent post by the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, as cited by NotebookCheck, shared images of four such compact models, with one of the devices purportedly being the OnePlus 15T.
This image could represent the inaugural glimpse of the OnePlus 15T; however, comprehensive information regarding the device’s specifications remains largely unconfirmed. As its nomenclature suggests, the OnePlus 15T is expected to succeed the OnePlus 13T (known as OnePlus 13s in the global market), which marked the brand’s initial foray into the compact flagship category. Beyond battery improvements, some of these emerging compact devices are also rumored to incorporate upgraded biometric security, transitioning from optical in-display fingerprint sensors to more advanced 3D ultrasonic scanners. Another notable premium feature potentially making its way to these mini flagship models is wireless charging.
