Motorola Signature 27 Launch Date Confirmed: Specs, Geekbench Scores, and Pricing Leaks

Motorola has officially scheduled the launch of its highly anticipated Signature 27 flagship for November 5. Putting an end to weeks of vague marketing teasers that only promised a November release across its US and India landing pages, the company utilized its official X account to finalize the date, describing the new device as “elegantly crafted for comfort.”
This official confirmation coincides with the appearance of the Signature 27 on Geekbench 7, providing a concrete look at the device’s internal performance capabilities. Testing under the motherboard moniker “art,” the pre-launch unit posted a single-core score of 3,313 and a multi-core score of 11,088. The benchmark listing details a QTI SM8975 octa-core chipset—featuring core clock speeds of 3.74GHz, 4.03GHz, and a peak of 5.01GHz—paired with an Adreno 850 GPU. This hardware aligns seamlessly with Motorola’s previously confirmed integration of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor and its proprietary ArcticMesh cooling system.

The Geekbench entry also reveals the device running on Android 17 (under software build A172CW.36-19-1) and utilizing approximately 10.94GB of accessible RAM, pointing directly to a standard 12GB memory configuration for the retail model. Because these metrics stem from a pre-release build, final consumer performance scores may still fluctuate upon the official rollout.
Beyond raw processing power, Motorola has already confirmed a robust suite of premium hardware specifications for the Signature 27. The camera array is headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 910 primary sensor, which is supported by a massive 200-megapixel periscope lens capable of 100x Super Zoom. The multimedia experience is rounded out by audio tuning from Bang & Olufsen. Visually, the smartphone will be available in PANTONE-certified Coal Smoke and Capulet Olive finishes. On the software front, Motorola is committing to a highly competitive seven years of continuous OS upgrades.
Official pricing remains the final missing piece of the puzzle. A recent listing from a European retailer temporarily priced the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration in Coal Smoke at €1,594.90 (approximately $1,735). Consumers and industry watchers will have to wait for the November 5 hardware event to see if these premium price tags reflect the official retail strategy.
