Poco X8s Launches Globally: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and a 6,330mAh Battery

Poco has officially expanded its global smartphone portfolio with the launch of the Poco X8s, delivering a compact form factor without sacrificing flagship-tier specifications. The new mid-range device arrives with aggressive early-bird pricing and a robust hardware configuration anchored by Qualcomm’s latest silicon.

At the center of the X8s is a compact 6.35-inch LTPO AMOLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is designed for high outdoor visibility with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, bordered by uniformly slim 1.18mm bezels that maximize the screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, the Poco X8s is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Buyers can configure the device with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Despite its smaller physical footprint, Poco has integrated a massive 6,330mAh battery supported by 100W fast wired charging capabilities.

The imaging system features a versatile triple-camera array on the rear. This module includes a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. A 20-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

The device runs out of the box on the new Android 16-based HyperOS 3 interface. Additional premium hardware features include an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner, an IP68 rating for comprehensive dust and water resistance, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC.

The Poco X8s is available globally in Blue, Black, and White colorways. Early-bird pricing starts at $399 for the base model featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the fully loaded variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is priced at $499.
