Lava Aura Curve Launched in India: Dual-Screen Design Meets a 6,000mAh Battery

Lava is expanding its footprint in India’s brick-and-mortar retail sector with the launch of the Aura Curve, a dual-screen smartphone designed exclusively for the offline market. Arriving on the heels of the recently unveiled Virat Curve, the Aura Curve shares the exact same design and hardware foundation but is strategically positioned to capture consumers who prefer to purchase their devices in physical stores.

The centerpiece of the Aura Curve is its ambitious dual-screen design. The device features a vibrant 6.67-inch AMOLED primary display with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, paired with a secondary AMOLED screen mounted on the rear panel. This dual-display architecture offers users quick access to notifications and widgets without needing to wake the main screen. The premium aesthetic is safeguarded by an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, alongside an in-display fingerprint scanner for secure biometric authentication.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. It ships with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, providing reliable performance for everyday multitasking and media consumption. One of the device’s strongest selling points is its software experience; Lava is shipping the Aura Curve with a clean, bloatware-free installation of Android 16, catering to purists who prefer an uncluttered user interface.

For photography, the Aura Curve relies on a high-quality 50-megapixel Sony IMX752 primary sensor on the rear, balanced by a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. To keep the hardware running, Lava has equipped the device with a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, ensuring exceptional endurance and minimal downtime. Connectivity options are fully modernized, featuring 5G support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS.

Priced at INR 23,999 for the sole 6GB/128GB configuration, the Lava Aura Curve is available in two colorways and can be purchased immediately through offline retailers across India.
