Pixel 11A Leaks: Google to Keep the Old Design but Upgrade to Tensor G6

Leaked renders of Google’s upcoming Pixel 11A suggest the tech giant is playing it safe with the smartphone’s exterior while plotting a significant under-the-hood upgrade. According to images published by Android Headlines in collaboration with OnLeaks, the next iteration of Google’s midrange lineup looks nearly identical to the preceding Pixel 10A and Pixel 9A, save for a slightly rounder oval-shaped rear camera module.

The leaked renders indicate that Google is retaining the prominent display bezels seen on previous A-series models. This design choice leaves the device looking somewhat dated when placed alongside the sleeker, flagship Pixel 11 series.

However, the lack of external innovation appears to be offset by a major processing boost. According to a prior report from Mystic Leaks, the Pixel 11A will bypass the aging Tensor G4 chip—which powered both the 9A and 10A—and jump directly to Google’s new Tensor G6 processor. This silicon upgrade would bring the midrange device’s performance and AI capabilities much closer to its flagship counterparts.

Android Headlines reports the Pixel 11A will launch in four colorways: black, silver, green, and purple. Google has not officially confirmed the device, but the tech giant is expected to reveal the exact shades, full hardware specifications, and pricing during its traditional Spring release window.
