Vivo has officially confirmed that its next-generation flagship lineup, the Vivo X500 series, will officially launch in China this September. Succeeding the X300 family, the new lineup—comprising the standard X500, X500 Pro, and top-tier X500 Pro Max—aims to redefine mobile videography with cinema-grade hardware.
In a preview shared on Weibo, Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao revealed key imaging details for the premium Pro models. The devices will debut a “ZEISS Ultra Dynamic Main Camera,” built around a custom Phantom 900 sensor jointly developed by Sony and Vivo’s in-house Blueprint imaging team. The sensor boasts an extraordinary 17EV dynamic range, promising unprecedented detail in high-contrast shooting scenarios.
