Realme has officially expanded its popular Number series in India with the launch of the Realme 16x 5G. Positioned as a dependable mid-range device, the new smartphone prioritizes exceptional battery life and a fluid viewing experience, targeting consumers who want reliable everyday functionality without paying a premium.

The standout feature of the Realme 16x 5G is its massive 7,000mAh battery. The device supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, bypass charging for prolonged gaming sessions, and 6.5W reverse charging to power up accessories. Realme heavily markets its “AI Long-Life Algorithm,” claiming the battery will retain over 97.28% health after one year and 94.48% after two years. However, from an industry perspective, these figures are relatively standard; many current smartphones with significantly faster charging speeds routinely maintain similar battery health over the same period.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. To maintain sustained performance, Realme has implemented a 5,300mm² “AirFlow EV System” alongside its GT Boost technology, which the company claims will ensure smooth operation for up to five years.
