Xiaomi has officially pulled the curtain back on its latest flagship killers, launching the highly anticipated Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max in the Chinese market. Armed with Qualcomm’s next-generation silicon, ultra-fluid OLED displays, and gargantuan batteries, the new lineup pushes the boundaries of smartphone performance and endurance.
With these two devices, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand continues its aggressive strategy of offering ultra-premium specifications at competitive price points, targeting power users, gamers, and photography enthusiasts alike.
Power and Precision: The Redmi K100 Pro
The standard Redmi K100 Pro is engineered around the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V Series chipset. To balance thermal efficiency with this powerhouse processor—which features one less GPU slice than its top-tier sibling—Xiaomi has integrated a massive 5,150mm² ice-cooled circulating pump. The performance is further augmented by LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and Xiaomi’s proprietary D2 discrete graphics and T1+ signal booster chips.
Visually, the device boasts a 6.59-inch flat OLED display built with M11 luminescent material, offering a blistering 185Hz refresh rate and peak full-screen brightness of 2,200 nits.
For photography, the K100 Pro is equipped with a 200MP primary sensor featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), flanked by a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. For users demanding uncompromising power, the Redmi K100 Pro Max steps up with the full-core version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. To tame the extra heat, Xiaomi expanded the ice-sealed circulating cooling pump to an expansive 6,300mm².
The Pro Max model caters to media consumers with a larger 6.9-inch OLED display (2608 × 1200 resolution) while retaining the smooth 185Hz refresh rate. The camera array also sees a significant bump: the 200MP main sensor remains, but it is joined by a superior 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a high-resolution 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Most notably, the Pro Max houses an industry-leading 9,070mAh battery. Despite this massive power cell, Xiaomi managed to keep the device remarkably slim at 8.45mm. The premium experience is rounded out by a glass fiber back, a 2.1-channel speaker system, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface.
