Samsung appears to be broadening the list of One UI 8.5 eligible devices once again, with more Galaxy phones and tablets expected to join the stable rollout after the first wave of flagship models. The update is now moving beyond the newest premium devices, and the latest reports suggest that many older Galaxy S, Z, A, M, F and Tab models are also in line for Samsung’s Android 16-based software.
Samsung is continuing to expand the pool of One UI 8.5 eligible devices, building on the beta program that already covered a broad mix of Galaxy flagships and select mid-range phones. The company has not published a single official master list in the style of a product launch sheet, but multiple Samsung software reports now point to a much wider rollout than the earliest preview builds suggested.
The first wave of the stable update is centered on Samsung’s most recent premium hardware, including the Galaxy S25 family and newer foldables and tablets. From there, the update is expected to move outward to previous-generation Galaxy S, Z and Tab devices, before eventually reaching more affordable Galaxy A, M and F models.
