Samsung is gearing up to refresh its highly lucrative mid-range smartphone portfolio. The highly anticipated Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 have officially surfaced on Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification database, signaling that an official global launch is imminent.
While Samsung has kept an official timeline under wraps, historical release patterns and the flurry of recent regulatory approvals strongly point toward a March 2026 debut.
The Certification Trail
The IMDA listings reveal the upcoming devices under the model numbers SM-A376B/DS and SM-A576B/DS. The “DS” suffix traditionally denotes “Dual-SIM” support, confirming that these are the global variants bound for international markets.
While regulatory databases rarely disclose granular hardware specifications, they serve as reliable indicators that a device has finalized its connectivity testing and is clearing the final bureaucratic hurdles before hitting retail shelves. Both models were also previously spotted on the Google Play Console, giving tech analysts a solid preview of what to expect.
Galaxy A37: An Upper Mid-Range Workhorse
Based on industry leaks, the Galaxy A37 is poised to blur the lines between entry-level and premium mid-range. Display leaks point to a vibrant 6.6-inch AMOLED panel boasting a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. Like its smaller sibling, the A57 is expected to retain the 5,000mAh battery and 45W charging capabilities. To further justify its premium mid-range positioning, the A57 will reportedly feature IP67 water and dust resistance alongside stereo speakers.
On the software front, both devices are expected to ship with Android 16 and Samsung’s proprietary One UI 8.5 right out of the box, offering users the latest features and the company’s renowned long-term software support.
