Oppo Find X9 Ultra Launch Imminent: SRRC and UFCS Certifications Confirmed

The roadmap for Oppo’s next major flagship release is becoming clearer as the company moves its upcoming devices through China’s rigorous certification process. In a strong indication that a launch is approaching, several new handsets—believed to be the Find X9 Ultra and the Find X9s series—have successfully secured approval from the State Radio Regulation of China (SRRC) and the Universal Fast Charging Specification (UFCS) authority.
With these regulatory hurdles cleared, industry analysts predict the new lineup will debut shortly after the Chinese New Year holidays, likely targeting a March release window.
The Ultra Variant and Satellite Connectivity Leading the charge is a device bearing the model number PMA110, widely identified as the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. The SRRC certification is a critical step for any wireless device in China, verifying compliance with spectrum regulations for 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth prior to commercial sale.
Perhaps more interestingly, the UFCS database lists a secondary variant, model PMA120. This specific model is explicitly noted to support satellite connectivity, suggesting Oppo plans to offer a specialized version of the Ultra for users requiring off-grid communication—a feature that is fast becoming a standard in the ultra-premium smartphone segment.
Embracing Universal Charging The certifications also confirm that Oppo is doubling down on the UFCS (Universal Fast Charging Specification) standard. Developed as a consortium effort by Chinese giants including Huawei, Vivo, and Xiaomi, UFCS aims to break down the walls of proprietary charging tech. This allows the new Find X9 devices to achieve high charging speeds even when using third-party power bricks that support the protocol, offering consumers significantly more flexibility.
The Mystery of the ‘S’ Series Running parallel to the Ultra flagship is the Find X9s lineup. Earlier this week, a device with model number PME110 was spotted at the SRRC, followed closely by a second model, PHM110.
These are expected to be the standard Find X9s and the Find X9s Pro. While the exact naming convention remains unconfirmed, the PHM110 has secured UFCS certification, hinting that it is the higher-specced Pro model. The PME110, which has yet to appear in the charging database, is likely the standard variant.
What Comes Next? With radio and charging certifications in hand, the devices must now pass through 3C (China Compulsory Certification) and TENAA (telecommunications equipment licensing). Once those listings appear, full specifications usually follow.
While the Find X9 Ultra and X9s series seem locked in for a March unveiling, the timeline for Oppo’s next foldable, the Find N6, remains ambiguous. It is currently unclear if the foldable will share the stage with the X9 series or headline its own separate event later in the spring.
