Vivo X300 Ultra Leak: To Feature Industry-First Dual 200MP Camera System

Vivo X300 Ultra

Following the recent launch of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, attention is now turning to the company’s forthcoming flagship, the Vivo X300 Ultra, which is expected to debut in 2026. According to new information from the prolific Weibo tipster, Digital Chat Station, the device is poised to make a significant leap in mobile photography.

The leak suggests the Vivo X300 Ultra may become the industry’s first smartphone to feature a pair of 200-megapixel cameras as part of its rear triple-camera setup.

Digital Chat Station reports that all three rear cameras on the X300 Ultra will be equipped with upgraded, large sensors compared to the Vivo X200 Ultra.

The most notable claim is the inclusion of two separate 200-megapixel sensors. While specific roles weren’t detailed in this leak, previous rumors suggest a formidable configuration:

  • Main Camera: 200-megapixel (Sony IMX90E with OIS)
  • Secondary Camera: 50-megapixel (Sony LYT-828)
  • Periscope Telephoto: 200-megapixel (Samsung HPB with OIS)

The tipster added that the primary camera might feature a 35mm focal length. This would be a departure from the wider 23-26mm lenses common in most smartphones, offering a field of view preferred by many for portraits, street photography, and everyday shots. A 50-megapixel front-facing selfie camera is also expected.

The camera system is not the only area slated for a top-tier upgrade. The same leak reveals that the Vivo X300 Ultra is currently being tested with a new 6.8-inch flat OLED screen that supports a 2K resolution.

Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It will likely run on Android 16, overlaid with Vivo’s OriginOS 6 UI.

Details regarding the X300 Ultra’s battery size and charging capabilities remain unknown at this time.

This leak surfaces as Vivo prepares for the wider global rollout of the standard X300 and X300 Pro, which are scheduled to debut in India in December.

Early reports project a launch window for the Vivo X300 Ultra, possibly alongside a Vivo X300s model, in the second quarter of 2026.

In a significant strategy shift, the X300 Ultra is also expected to hit the global market around the same time. This would mark the first time Vivo has released its top-tier “Ultra” branded flagship outside of its home market of China, signaling a more aggressive global push.
