Realme GT 8 series confirmed: big batteries, ultrasonic fingerprint sensors and Pro-grade gaming chip

After several days of teasers, Realme has confirmed the GT 8 series will debut on October 21 in China. The lineup will include the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro, both based on Qualcomm’s 8-series silicon, with the Pro model positioned squarely against the OnePlus 15, iQOO 15, and Redmi K90 Pro.

• Chipset: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with an R1 graphics chip for enhanced gaming stability and frame pacing.

• Display: Flat 2K OLED with 144Hz refresh rate.

First Realme x Ricoh collaboration

The GT 8 Pro will also be the first Realme phone born from its partnership with camera maker Ricoh. The collaboration introduces five Ricoh GR-inspired color profiles—Positive Film, Negative Film, High Contrast Black & White, Standard, and Black & White—bringing a classic film aesthetic to mobile shooting straight out of the camera.
