HarmonyOS 5.1 Rollout: Over 30 Huawei Devices Set to Receive Major Software Upgrade
Huawei has officially announced the date for HarmonyOS 5.1 rollout, with Richard Yu, Chairman of Huawei Consumer Business, confirming that more than 30 smartphones, tablets, and wearables will begin receiving the upgrade starting from July 31. The new version will be made available to both flagship and mid-range devices, making this one of the brand’s most extensive software launches to date.
HarmonyOS 5.1 Rollout Details
HarmonyOS 5.1 first debuted with the Huawei Pura 80 series earlier this year, but the wider rollout was scheduled to follow the launch of the Pura 80 Velvet Edition. Now, Huawei is set to deliver the update to a comprehensive list of eligible devices right after July 30, ensuring that users across various product categories—from high-end flagships to affordable mid-rangers—will enjoy the latest features and improvements.
The rollout isn’t limited to smartphones: tablets, wearables, and even PCs such as the MateBook Fold Ultimate Design will be included in the update. Notably, the software is already available for select flagship smartwatches, including the Watch 5 and Watch GT 5 series.
One of the highlights of this upgrade is the inclusion of mid-range devices, such as the Nova series and the Nova Flip foldable, signaling Huawei’s commitment to supporting a wide spectrum of its user base.
