HMD T21 tablet launched in India: specifications, features, and price
HMD Global unveiled its HMD T21 tablet globally a few months ago, and this device has now finally made its way to the Indian market, priced at Rs 14,499, positioning itself as a competitive option in the mid-range category.
The HMD T21 tablet features a 10.36-inch LCD display with a 5:3 aspect ratio, offering a balanced viewing experience for both entertainment and productivity. The device boasts an elegant slim profile at just 7.5mm thick and weighs 467 grams, making it convenient for daily portability.

At the core of the tablet is the Unisoc T612 processor, complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The storage capacity can be further expanded up to 512 GB via a microSD card. The HMD T21 ships with the Android 13 operating system out of the box, with an available upgrade to Android 14 and a promise of monthly security updates for three years.
Regarding its imaging capabilities, the tablet is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera featuring autofocus, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, ideal for video calls. Connectivity is ensured through 4G network support for voice calls and SMS messages, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and location services including GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO. The USB Type-C port supports OTG functionality and charging at up to 18W via the PD3.0 standard. A hybrid SIM slot allows for the use of two nano SIM cards for cellular connectivity.

Battery autonomy of the HMD T21 tablet is guaranteed by an integrated 8,200mAh non-removable battery, which, according to specifications, provides up to 18 days of standby time and 12 hours of talk time. The audio experience is enhanced by dual speakers, two microphones, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, and OZO Spatial Audio technology for both recording and playback.
The HMD T21 is available in an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant at a price of Rs 14,499. The device comes in a single “Black Steel” color and can be purchased via HMD.com.
