Just weeks before Samsung’s official Unpacked event on July 9, one of the industry’s most trusted sources has provided a comprehensive and detailed look at the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. Veteran leaker Evan Blass has published a series of high-quality Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, effectively leaving little to the imagination regarding the new foldable’s design, color options, and key physical changes.
The newly published images showcase the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in three distinct colorways: Jet Black, Silver Shadow, and Blue Shadow. While the black and blue options have been seen in previous leaks, this marks the first clear look at the Silver Shadow model. These colors align perfectly with an official Samsung staging site that was discovered yesterday, which also listed an online-exclusive “Green Mint” color that has not yet been shown in renders.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. renders from Blass provide a multi-angle view of the device, confirming a significantly thinner form factor, which is particularly evident in shots showing the device folded from the hinge side.
Perhaps the most significant design change corroborated by these renders is the removal of the under-display selfie camera on the main, folding screen. This suggests Samsung is prioritizing front-facing camera quality over the seamless, uninterrupted display of previous generations.
While the design is now largely public, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to launch with powerful internal specifications, including the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a new 200MP primary camera. However, reports also indicate that Samsung will stick with the same 4,400mAh battery and 25W wired charging speeds that have been used in the last four generations of the Z Fold series, a point that may disappoint some potential buyers.
