Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 and Redmi K80 Ultra Launching by Late June

Xiaomi enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the second-generation Xiaomi Mix Flip, and its launch now appears imminent. The foldable phone has recently passed 3C certification in China, a sign that an official announcement is close. Alongside it, the performance-oriented Redmi K80 Ultra has also cleared 3C certification, signaling a joint debut.

According to well-known tipster Smart Pikachu, both the Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi’s upcoming gaming tablet are set to launch in China by the end of June. The K80 Ultra is expected to feature a massive 7,500mAh battery, while the gaming tablet will also sport a large battery and bypass charging support — a feature that improves thermal management during heavy use. Both devices are rumored to be competitively priced.

Xiaomi Mix Flip 2: Slimmer, Lighter, and Accessory-Rich

The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is also tipped to be part of the late June launch lineup. This new generation foldable is said to be lighter and thinner than its predecessor and will ship with stylish new accessories.

Leaked specs suggest that the Mix Flip 2 will measure 7.6mm when unfolded and weigh around 190 grams. It is likely to feature a 6.85-inch foldable OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a premium viewing experience.

Flagship Specs and Charging Capabilities

Under the hood, the Mix Flip 2 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, backed by a 5,100mAh battery. Charging options are rumored to include 67W wired and 50W wireless charging, making it one of the fastest-charging foldables on the market.

Camera and Features

In terms of photography, the Mix Flip 2 is expected to come equipped with a 50MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilization) and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Additional features may include an IR blaster, in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, and an IPX8 water resistance rating.

Global Availability

As for international markets, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is expected to launch globally in July. However, the Redmi K80 Ultra is likely to remain exclusive to the Chinese market. Instead, global users might see a rebranded version of the K80 Ultra in the form of the Xiaomi 15T Pro, possibly launching in Q3 2025.
