Vivo Y19 5G Debuts in India with Rugged Design, AI-Powered Camera, and Budget-Friendly Price

Vivo has introduced a new entry-level 5G smartphone in the Indian market — the Vivo Y19 5G. This model brings together a robust build, a sizable battery, and smart camera features, all while staying affordable for budget-conscious buyers.

The device features a sleek metallic matte exterior and emphasizes durability, boasting SGS-certified drop resistance, military-grade shock protection, and an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. These features make it one of the more rugged phones in its price segment.

Among its standout features are a 5,500mAh battery and camera tools enhanced with artificial intelligence. Vivo includes functionality like AI Erase, which can remove distracting elements from backgrounds, and AI Photo Enhance, designed to automatically sharpen and refine images.

Under the hood, the Y19 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM, and up to 128 GB of internal storage. It has a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals for everyday use. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor adds biometric security without compromising the design.

The camera system on the back includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a basic 0.08-megapixel secondary lens, while the front hosts a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone ships with Funtouch OS 15, which is built on top of Android 15.

The Vivo Y19 5G is available in two stylish colors: Titanium Silver and Majestic Green. It’s priced as follows:

  • ₹11,499 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option

  • ₹12,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant

Buyers can find the phone online via Flipkart, Vivo’s official India store, and various retail partners across the country. Vivo is also offering Zero Down Payment and a three-month no-cost EMI plan on the 6GB + 128GB model to ease affordability.
