Gemini 2.5 Pro is available for all users

Google has just made the latest generation of its AI model available to all users. Gemini AI 2.5 Pro, which was only available to subscribers at launch, can be used for free via the Gemini app starting today.

Google has touted, this version as the most advanced model to date. In a recently published text on the official blog, Google claims that Gemini 2.5 Pro outperforms some of the most popular AI models in many criteria, such as in science and math.

Also, Gemini 2.5 Pro isn’t the only thing Google is bringing to a wider audience. The Mountain View company recently demonstrated new Gemini Live video capabilities at MWC 2025 in Barcelona. This feature allows Gemini to see through your phone’s camera recognize the subject and answer your questions about it.

Since then, Gemini Live has been available only to subscribers of the Gemini Advanced service, and will soon be extended to a wider audience.
