New Nokia Clarity, Comfort, Micro and Go series of headphones announced

A bunch of headphones were announced today by Nokia Mobile. The new headsets are divided into four series that should bring a bit more of structure into the ever-growing portfolio of Nokia headphones.

Alongside offering classic earbuds (plural) from the new Clarity, Comfort, Micro and Go series, Nokia Mobile will also be offering the mono headset “Solo” audio devices like Nokia Solo Bud, Nokia Solo Bud+, Nokia Clarity Solo, and Nokia Clarity Solo Bud+.

The Nokia Solo Bud and Bud+  are made specifically for professionals on the move and I regard them as successors to the Nokia Luna from back in the days. For those that want a more premium feel for their earbud, Nokia Mobile will offer the Nokia Clarity Solo Bud with “professional-level dual-mic noise reduction with Qualcomm® cVc™” and Nokia Clarity Solo Bud+ coming with a IPX4 rating.

The flagship audio products are the Nokia Clarity Earbuds and the Clarity Earbuds Pro. They feature “dual microphones with Qualcomm® cVc™ environmental noise cancellation (ENC) technology” that will reduce echo and background noises. The earbuds also have a light ring on the outside that should turn when the audio is on indicating people around you that you’re not to be disturbed, says the official press release. The buds support Bluetooth 5.2 for easily switching between the buds, and Nokia Mobile mentions 10mm neodymium drivers, as well as “low latency technology” that should make the earbuds great for gaming and watching movies, as well. The difference between the standard and Pro version is that Clarity Earbuds Pro will support ANC (active noise cancellation) and have an Ambient mode to help you “keep tabs on your surroundings.”

Next up is the Nokia Comfort Earbuds series with three representatives – Comfort Earbuds, Comfort Earbuds+, and Comfort Earbuds Pro. The signature attribute of this series is “comfort”, because of the “unique comfort ring that softens in your ear ensures all earbuds in this range sit in your ear securely and feel comfortable even after hours of listening.” The buds also have up to 9 hours of battery life, with the Comfort + model having wireless charging, and Comfort Pro coming with ANC and ENC.

The Micro range is here for folks that want smaller gadgets. The Nokia Micro Earbuds come with over 9 hours of battery life in a single charge, and the Micro Earbuds Pro featuring “an angled design for improved comfort and dual-mic noise reduction technology.”

Last but no the least are the Nokia Go Earbuds+. They come with IPX4 waterproofing, extra-large 13mm drivers, while providing a comfortable fit. They are also the most affordable earbuds in the new headphones portfolio. The press release also mentions wired headphones – or to be precise, Nokia Wired Buds, but without any details but the price.
