Nokia 220 4G and new Nokia Mobile Store announced in China
Nokia 220 4G is now on pre-sale in China. The device supports the 4G network of all the three major operators in China, which means users can enjoy HD calls through VoLTE.
The device can sustain weeks (up to 27 days) of battery life and up to 6.3 hours of talk time. On 4G, users can get up to 10Mbps download and up to 5 Mbps upload speeds. Though, on no 4G support, the network will drop back to 2G as it does not support 3G.
Also, Nokia Mobile announced the opening of a new Nokia Mobile Store in China. The new store went live on April 21, and currently it offers seven Nokia feature phones, Nokia Power Earbuds (BH-605) and Nokia True Wireless Earbuds (BH-705), but no smartphones.

The price of this device is set at ¥299 (₹ 3200, US$42, €39), and is currently on pre-sale on Nokia Mobile Store, Jingdong Mall (JD), and Tmall. If customers pre-order this device, which is until May 7, they will get a ¥30 coupon, which they can use it during the final payment of the device. The device will start shipping from May 7.
To pre-order on Nokia Mobile Store, pay ¥2.9 as a deposit amount and get the phone for ¥271.9.
The deals on JD and Tmall are a bit better, pay ¥1 as a deposit amount and get the phone for only ¥270 (₹ 2886, US$38.15, €35.18).
Nokia Mobile now seem to be pushing more feature phones than smartphones to the Chinese market, which is reasonable since it is hard to fight the strong competition there. Now you can buy Nokia 2720 Flip, 800 Tough and 220 4G and currently the Nokia brand is still a synonym for the best and most durable feature phones.
