Nokia 2720 Flip is a new Nokia Original revival
Nokia Mobile announced a new device from the Originals series. After bringing back to life a legendary Nokia 3310, Nokia 8110 4G or the banana phone, it was time to bring back a classic flip phone.
Nokia 2720 was announced first in 2009 and the concept with two screens looks even better 10 years after. The body lines are now rounded more and the 1,3-inch front display for notifications is not hidden any more like in the 2009 version. When you flip the device you find a larger 2.8” QVGA display and slick T9 keypad.
Nokia 2720 will be running KaiOS on a Snapdragon 205 platform. The 512 MB of RAM should be enough to run the preinstalled Whatsapp and Facebook apps, and there is 4GB of internal storage for your music and other apps. Storage is expandable with microSD card up to 32GB.
The phone features a 2MP camera, and will also support WiFi, BT, and GPS (AGPS + GLONASS) which is cool. There is also a 3.5 mm jack and a micro USB port for charging and transferring music. Nokia Mobile chose to use a removable BL6V 1500 mAh which is enough to keep it alive for 27 days on standby.

Nokia 2720 Flip will come with Google Assistant and an emergency button that when pressed will send an emergency text message, including the current location to five emergency contacts.
The device will be available in Black and Gray in September for €89.
