Rumors: New Nokia phones will be announced next month

After a long period of just seeing lower end phones coming from Nokia Mobile, with the exception of Nokia 9 PureView, we might finally see some midrange device in the price segment between Nokia 5 and Nokia 8 series of phones.

Recently we saw two similar-looking Nokia devices leaked in real-life photos and in case renders. The devices in question are codenamed Daredevil and presumably Star Lord. In terms of real names, Daredevil might be the Nokia 5.2 (or 6.2), while Star Lord could be the Nokia 7.2.

Regarding specifications, we know that Daredevil will feature Snapragon 660, 3500mAh battery, 48MP camera with a night mode on-board and a tear-drop notched FullHD+ display. The specifications of Nokia 7.2 remain unknown.

Today we might have more info about the release dates. Nokia Mobile made quite a few delays and changes in their announcement plan for the first half of 2019 according to unofficial information that has been leaking last few months. The new devices might see the light of the day next month – August 2019. That info was revealed by Nokia Anew via Twitter.

A month will soon pass and time will tell if we will see new devices then. My Nokia 6.1 is getting a bit old, just like a lot of 7 plus and Nokia 8 units, so Nokia Mobile offering something better than the 4.2 and priced less than the 9 would suite a lot of Nokia users looking for upgrades.
