Video²: First Hands on/Unboxings of the new Nokia 2.2
|Nokia Mobile today held two separate launch events in Italy and India, where the company announced their most affordable Android One device, the Nokia 2.2. Nokia 2.2 is a nice-looking phone, that on the front looks similar to the 3.2 and 4.2 with the teardrop notch, while the back of the device reminds me of Lumia 620. The local media had the chance to play with the device, so down below follow some hands on and unboxing videos of 2.2.
Before jumping on videos made by the media, we have to cover Nokia Mobile’s unboxing of the Nokia 2.2 done by HMD’s CPO Juho Sarvikas. Nokia Conversations back then was always the First to post unboxings and hands on videos of newly announced Nokia phones and I really like what Nokia Mobile did here.

Nokia 2.2 looks to me like an overall solid device for the price Nokia Mobile asks. It’s great to see a really nice-looking polycarbonate design, exchangeable battery, all the necessary ports and slots, as well as modern looking display with teardrop notch and colorfull Xpress-On covers. The starting price in India of INR 6,999 (€89) seems acceptable judging by the reaction from social media, while the price of €109 and €119 in Italy and Finland feels less acceptable.
If we ever get this phone on review, we will be able to tell you more.
