Nokia 3.1 was announced last year in May and came with Android 8.0 out of the box. HMD’s CPO Juho Sarvikas announced via Twitter today that Android 9 Pie rollout has started for the 3.1. The rollout start doesn’t mean that all Nokia 3.1 units will get the update right now. As always, the rollout is phased and during the next few weeks most of the 3.1’s should be on Pie.
