Nokia 3 in India received the December update

HMD Global started releasing Google’s December security patch, coupled with improvements in stability and UI for the Nokia 3 in India. The update is a little less than 350MB in size and is, at the moment, only available for Nokia 3 devices in India. To download the update head to Settings->About->System updates.

Our Nokia 3 variant did not receive this update, and this info was posted by an XDA forum member from India. HMD manufacturers all Nokia phones available on the Indian market in India, meaning the global units made in China (or Vietnam?), and Indian units differ (not specs-wise, but firmware-wise), and we see that mostly with the different schedule of updates.

The December update for other Nokia devices, and the rest of the Nokia 3 users, will regularly arrive by the end of the month. Hopefully, the multitasking bug on Nokia 5 (non-India variants) will be fixed, too.
