Nokia Phoenix reference appeared on FIH’s server
|In early June, just a few days after Nokia Mobile’s Moscow event, where the company announced the all new Nokia 2, 3 and 5, rumor appeared about a Snapdragon 710-powered Nokia smartphone codenamed “Phoenix”. That’s quite a strong codename that was posted by Roland Quandt from winfuture.de, a reliable source of tech information. Today, the Phoenix appeared again.
Found something in metadata.

Hikari Calyx, who usually shares interesting info about Nokia devices from a technical point of view, shared on Twitter that FIH is developing a new Nokia device. After examining the metadata available from FIH’s server, Hikari found out that the device in question is the already rumored Nokia Phoenix, that goes under a shorted codename PNX and runs Android 8.1.0, as seen from the metadata.
Nokia Phoenix is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 710 and should appear before the end of the year, maybe even in this quarter together with a Snapdragon 845-powered device, as a recent rumor from China suggests.
