Video: Juho Sarvikas tells the story behind new #Nokia phones in an interview

Earlier this month, HMD held a press event in India, where Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, demoed and talked about the idea behind the new Nokia phones – the 3, 5, 6 and 3310. Juho also did a video interview for Gizmodo India (that’s the name of the YouTube channel the video was published on, not sure if it is in which he talked about the new Nokia phones. One line from Juho’s interview can be described as a little teaser, where he says: “Obviously, we left some numbers unused”, hinting about some unannounced device. If we ignore the fact that the video was taken in portrait mode, it is quite enjoyable, and the story Juho tells is very interesting. The video is 7 minutes long, and made in a more casual atmosphere. Definitely take a look down below.

The new Nokia 3310 (2017) has been already available in India for Rs.3310 (€47), but as we hear from our readers, in very limited quantity. Also, buyers of the 3310 get a little present and/or flower bouquet, depending on the retailer. Down below, you can check an interesting drop test of Nokia 3310 made by Gadget Diary, that basically confirms everything we found out analysing the first 3310 drop test here.

Soon, the rest of the world is expecting the new 3310, but we all, excluding folks from China, eagerly wait for the global debut of Nokia 6, and 5, and 3. All devices should hit all announced markets by the end of next month.

Thanks LoveNokia for the tip. 🙂

#Nokia 6 codename was Plate, because it’s built around a metal plate

  • The MRP on the box of Nokia 3310 is 3600/- and not 3310/- so the retailers are charging 3600/- 🙁 This is very bad according to me. HMD Global announced Nokia 3310 will be available at Rs.3310 then y do they print 3600/- on the box?

Hey buddy, I hope all is well.
I just read about the Nokia 9 being benchmarked. It did pretty well.
It’s on the news part from GSM arena.

Some comments say it’s fake and that the benchmark is outdated, etc, but it did very very well…

      • But i didn’t like the Nokia 9 leaked images. 🙁 I have a very bad feeling that we will be disappointed again when they announce their flagships. Don’t keep high hopes on this Nokia. Our beloved Nokia is gone. 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 How to make crying Emoticon? TT TT TT TT TT 🙁

Oh yeah, remember how I said once the new Nokia phones come out, I’ll be buying them? Well, I have read a lot about Android O and the little patches that they fixed, along with optimizations and additional features.

Also read about the flaws and backdoors that nougat has. That being said, I have now changed my direction and will only purchase a Nokia Android phone with Android O in it …

The reason why it needs to be factory OEM Android O is because some of the apps and themes and functionality of the phone might misbehave if we buy phones with nougat then upgrade a few months later…
I guess this means no new phone for me until October or November

    I am not a Clone but I am a Clone 😛
Made by Indian Company Micromax :P]
BTW This one looks much closer to Original Nokia 3310. 😛 Its not wide as the new Nokia 3310. Its Narrow like the old Nokia 3310
