iQOO Neo 12 Crushes Mobile Gaming Tests With Industry-First 185 FPS Performance

Prominent industry insider Digital Chat Station has published leaked gaming tests of the upcoming iQOO Neo 12, revealing unprecedented mobile performance metrics ahead of the device’s October 28 launch in China. According to the data, the new smartphone supports native 185-frames-per-second (fps) gameplay across more than 50 major mobile shooters, effectively maxing out its built-in 2K 185Hz display.
The leaked performance data centers on a grueling, hour-long session of Call of Duty Mobile running on HD graphics. A PerfDog benchmark screenshot confirms the iQOO Neo 12 sustained an average frame rate of 185.05fps. More importantly, the test recorded a 1% low of 165.1fps. Because the 1% low metric tracks the frame rate during the most demanding, hardware-taxing moments of a match, staying above the 160fps threshold guarantees incredibly fluid gameplay without noticeable stuttering. The test session recorded zero “jank” events.

Digital Chat Station claims this makes the iQOO Neo 12 the first smartphone in the industry to natively run Call of Duty Mobile at 185fps with HD graphics enabled. The leaker clarified that these results represent pure native processing power, distinct from the phone’s separate 2K mode which utilizes artificial frame interpolation and super-resolution upscaling.
Sustaining such extreme frame rates over an hour typically induces severe thermal throttling in mobile devices. The iQOO Neo 12 combats this using a physical “Ice Dome” active cooling fan, which appears to have successfully managed the thermal load during the benchmark test.
The extensive library of supported 185fps titles includes highly competitive shooters such as Peacekeeper Elite, Delta Force, Valorant: Source Operation, CrossFire, Counter-Strike: Future, Firefly, and Dark Zone. To complement the high-refresh-rate visuals, iQOO has integrated 4D game vibration mechanics and ultra-sensitive touch zones, aiming to deliver a comprehensive sensory advantage for mobile esports enthusiasts.
The iQOO Neo 12 is scheduled to hit the Chinese market on October 28, with retail availability commencing immediately after the official reveal.
