Honor 700 Series Rumors: ‘Flora’ Prototypes Hint at a November Launch

Honor 700

Leaked details from an engineering prototype have provided an early look at the upcoming Honor 700 smartphone series. According to prominent industry tipster Digital Chat Station, the new lineup—developed under the internal codename “Flora”—is tentatively scheduled for a November launch and features a built-in secondary display.

The most notable design shift for the Honor 700 series is the integration of a native 1.72-inch rear screen. This embedded display eliminates the need for the snap-on magnetic mini screen previously utilized on the Honor 600 series. On the front, the prototype sports a mid-sized 6.57-inch 1.5K display surrounded by ultra-narrow bezels, maximizing the screen-to-body ratio for a highly compact feel.

Imaging and power hardware are also seeing significant upgrades. The rear camera module houses a triple-lens array anchored by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. Furthermore, the higher-tier Honor 700 Pro will reportedly include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens for enhanced optical zoom capabilities. To support these features, Honor is testing a massive 9,000mAh battery, adding approximately 400mAh of capacity compared to the Chinese market’s Honor 600 Super.

Honor is currently evaluating four colorways for the final retail release: Cool White, Sky Blue, Azure, and Pink Mist. Because the leaked specifications are based on an early engineering prototype, the final hardware configurations, color options, and the tentative November release window remain subject to change prior to an official announcement.
