Oura Ring 5 Debuts in India with Thinner Design, Blood Pressure Signals, and GLP-1 Insights

Oura has officially launched the Oura Ring 5 in India, bringing what it claims is the world’s smallest smart ring to the market. Pre-orders for the fifth-generation wearable opened on October 22, 2026, with the device available through Croma retail locations nationwide and online via Amazon.

Redesigned Hardware and Enhanced Sensors The Ring 5 boasts a dramatically reduced footprint, taking up 40 percent less volume than its predecessor, the Oura Ring 4. Measuring just 6.09mm in width and 2.28mm in thickness, the IP68-rated, non-allergenic titanium band features a smoother interior with lower-profile sensor domes. Oura has integrated stronger LEDs and 12 optimized signal pathways, engineered to provide highly accurate biometric readings across diverse skin tones and finger anatomies. Depending on the ring size and individual usage habits, a newly designed battery delivers between six and nine days of power per charge.

New Health Features and Subscription Requirements The Indian launch introduces a robust suite of advanced health-tracking software. This includes “Health Radar,” an evolution of Oura’s Symptom Radar that monitors baseline heart health and nighttime breathing. The wearable also introduces Blood Pressure Signals and Nighttime BP tracking. Oura explicitly notes that the Ring 5 is not a medical device; these are wellness tools that track trends rather than providing diagnostic mmHg readings. Additional software capabilities include Cardio Effort, automatic VO2 Max tracking, and specialized GLP-1 and Menopause insights.

To access these personalized analytics within the Oura App, users must maintain an active Oura Membership, which costs Rs 599 (approximately $6.33) per month, inclusive of taxes.

Pricing and Finishes The Oura Ring 5 is available in sizes 6 through 13 and is offered in two pricing tiers across six distinct finishes:

• Standard Tier (Rs 39,900 / ~$422): Available in Silver and Black.

• Premium Tier (Rs 50,900 / ~$538): Available in Stealth, Brushed Silver, a newly refined true Gold, and a novel copper-toned Deep Rose.

While Oura manufactures an optional charging case for the Ring 5, it is sold separately and is not currently available in the Indian market.
