Samsung Android 17 Update: Full List of Galaxy Devices Getting the New Software

Android 17

After an initially delayed start to the Android 17 rollout, Samsung has significantly accelerated its software update schedule. The new operating system is now reaching the oldest eligible flagship models, while simultaneously expanding to a growing number of mid-range and budget-friendly devices.

With the tech giant having successfully updated all of its premium smartphones, the distribution focus is entirely shifting toward the more accessible Galaxy A series. However, one detail has caught industry watchers by surprise: Samsung has yet to initiate the Android 17 rollout for any of its Galaxy tablets. Since tablet updates typically do not lag this far behind smartphones, users are hopeful the tablet rollout will begin shortly.

How to Check for and Download the Update

It is important to note that major software updates are deployed in phases. Even if a device is on the approved list, it may take some time before the update goes live in specific regions or on specific carriers. Users whose models are listed below but haven’t received a notification should expect the software soon.

To check for availability manually, navigate to Settings > Software updates and select Download and install.
