Infinix GT 50 Pro India launch confirmed with a community challenge

Infinix GT 50 Pro

Infinix has confirmed that the gaming-focused GT 50 Pro will launch in India this October, months after its international debut. The company has yet to announce a date or local price. Instead, it is asking fans to take part in a “Game Together” campaign: once the community reaches a click target, Infinix says it will reveal the launch date.

A broader gaming push

The GT 50 Pro will not be the only focus of the Indian launch. Infinix says it is preparing additional gaming-oriented products designed to work alongside the phone, although it has not identified the full lineup or explained whether any accessories will be included.

The internationally released GT 50 Pro provides a clear indication of the hardware to expect. Indian memory and storage configurations, pricing and any bundled products remain unconfirmed.

What sets the phone apart

The GT 50 Pro combines a 144Hz AMOLED display with dedicated shoulder triggers, giving players extra controls without obscuring the screen. Its Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, fast memory and cooling system are intended to support demanding games and longer sessions. Actual gaming performance will still depend on the title, graphics settings and temperature.

The 6,500mAh battery supports both wired and wireless charging. Outside gaming, the phone offers a stabilized 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide and a 13MP selfie camera. Its IP64 rating covers dust and splashes, but not immersion in water.

For Indian buyers, the biggest missing details are the launch date, price and contents of Infinix’s promised gaming lineup. The community campaign is expected to settle the first question; the company has not said when it will answer the others.
