Samsung September 2026 Security Patch: Full Device List & Vulnerability Details
Samsung is accelerating the deployment of its September 2026 security patch across its Galaxy ecosystem following a sluggish start. The rollout, which initially missed its standard cadence due to overlapping delays with the broader One UI 9 operating system launch for the Galaxy S26 series, is now actively reaching a wide array of smartphones and tablets globally.
The September 2026 maintenance release is a critical update addressing a total of 90 security vulnerabilities. Google provided 58 of these patches, encompassing 18 critical and 40 high-severity fixes. Notably, Samsung confirmed that 40 of Google’s listed fixes do not apply to Galaxy device architectures, and one issue had already been resolved in a prior update.
On the proprietary hardware and software front, the update includes one patch from Samsung Semiconductor and 31 specific to Samsung Mobile. The mobile-specific fixes resolve two critical, three high-level, and 15 moderate-level vulnerabilities, with the severity of the remaining 11 patches kept confidential.
