Vivo V80 & S2 FE Pass Certification: Leaked Specs, Battery, and Release Date

Vivo S2 FE

Vivo is accelerating its smartphone rollout in India. Following the recent appearance of the Vivo X Fold 6 foldable on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, two additional handsets—bearing model numbers V2640 and V2648—have officially cleared BIS certification, signaling an imminent launch.

Cross-referencing earlier international database listings reveals the identities of both devices. The V2640 was previously confirmed as the Vivo S2 FE via a Bluetooth SIG listing, while the V2648 corresponds to the Vivo V80, a model already approved by regulatory bodies in Thailand (NBTC), Malaysia (SIRIM), and Indonesia (SDPPI). Industry expectations suggest both smartphones could make their official debut in October.
