The listings for the base Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ confirm their wired charging speeds and box contents, suggesting little change from the current generation in these areas.

Galaxy S27 sticks with 25W charging

According to the 3C filing, the Galaxy S27 — bearing model number SM‑S9520 — will support 25W wired charging. This is the same charging speed found in its predecessor, the Galaxy S26, and matches the rate Samsung has used for its base S-series models since the Galaxy S20.

For users hoping that the Galaxy S27 would finally bring faster charging to Samsung’s entry-level flagship, the listing indicates that the company is maintaining its existing approach for at least another generation.

Galaxy S27+ retains 45W charging

The Galaxy S27+, listed under model number SM‑S9560, is certified for 45W wired charging. This again mirrors the Galaxy S26+ and continues the charging standard Samsung has offered for its “Plus” models since the Galaxy S22+.

While 45W is competitive within the Android flagship segment, it still trails some rivals that have adopted significantly higher charging speeds in recent years.

No charger in the box

The 3C documentation also confirms that both the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ will ship with only a USB Type‑C cable in the retail box. No power adapter will be included, continuing the practice Samsung has followed with its recent flagship smartphones.
