Vivo S2 India Launch Date, Pricing, and Hardware Specifications Leaked

Vivo is preparing to launch the Vivo S2 smartphone in the Indian market, with an official announcement anticipated for August 6. Following initial promotional campaigns confirming the device’s exterior design, information from a source on the X platform has detailed the expected retail pricing and core hardware specifications.

According to the source, the Vivo S2 configuration featuring 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal storage is projected to enter the market at an introductory price between INR 40,000 and INR 45,000. The printed maximum retail price on the packaging is reportedly listed at INR 66,999.

The smartphone is expected to incorporate a 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display, providing a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Internal operations are reportedly managed by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 processor.

In terms of camera hardware, the device is said to feature a dual-lens rear module led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel secondary unit. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera is expected to accommodate self-portrait photography and video communications.

Power delivery is attributed to a 7,050 milliampere-hour battery supporting 44W wired fast charging. The structural design reportedly meets IP68 and IP69 standards for resistance against dust ingress and water exposure.

The source also indicates that Vivo may introduce new True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds concurrently with the smartphone. The audio accessory is reported to feature 10-millimeter dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity, and up to 50 hours of total battery runtime, with color availability in Basalt Black and Nilgiri Green.
