Realme C100x Specs, Price and Features: Huge Battery in a Rugged Budget Phone

Realme has introduced the C100x, a budget-focused smartphone built around one clear selling point: endurance. The device combines an unusually large 8,000mAh battery with a 120Hz display, 45W fast charging and reinforced protection features, positioning it as a practical option for users who value long battery life over flagship-level specifications.
The C100x is not trying to compete with premium camera phones or performance-oriented gaming devices. Instead, Realme is targeting buyers who want a dependable daily handset that can survive demanding use, last well beyond a typical day, and offer modern features without moving into a higher price bracket.
Battery First, By Design
The headline feature is the 8,000mAh battery, a capacity still uncommon in mainstream smartphones, especially in a device that remains under 9mm thick. Realme lists the C100x at roughly 8.78mm thick and 219g, while claiming more than 21 hours of video playback or up to 29 hours of calling on a charge.
Charging is handled through 45W wired fast charging, while reverse wired charging allows the handset to function as a power bank for compatible accessories or other devices. That combination makes the C100x particularly relevant for commuters, field workers, travelers, and users who routinely face long periods away from a charger.
Large Screen, Modest Resolution
The phone features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 900 nits of high-brightness-mode output. Realme also includes DC dimming to reduce visible flickering, while the panel is protected by ArmorShell glass.
However, the large display uses a 720 x 1570 HD+ resolution, so sharpness will not match Full HD+ panels found in some competing devices. The screen is designed more for smooth scrolling, everyday media use and readability than for detailed visual work or high-end gaming.
Entry-Level Hardware and Cameras
Power comes from the Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with configurations that vary by market and include up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone also supports microSD expansion, offering flexibility for users who prioritize local storage for photos, videos and offline content.
For imaging, the C100x uses a 50MP main camera with autofocus, alongside an auxiliary sensor, while the front camera is a 5MP unit. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30fps from the rear camera, making this a functional rather than photography-centric setup.
The device ships with Android 16 and Realme UI 7.0, including software-based AI tools for image processing and system optimization.
Built for Everyday Abuse
Realme has also emphasized durability. The C100x carries an IP64 rating for dust resistance and splash protection, meets the MIL-STD-810H standard, and is marketed as capable of withstanding drops of up to two meters. It also includes Wet Hand Touch functionality, intended to make the screen more usable with damp hands.
These ratings should not be mistaken for full waterproofing or a guarantee of survival in every harsh environment. Still, they give the C100x a more resilient profile than many conventional budget smartphones.
Price and Availability
The Realme C100x has launched in several markets at different price points. In Thailand, it was announced at 6,999 baht, while Russian pricing starts at RUB 16,999 for the 4GB/128GB model and RUB 18,999 for the 4GB/256GB version.
