As December 2025 draws to a close, Xiaomi is preparing one final, significant gift for its user base. Before the calendar flips to 2026, the company is set to initiate a large-scale rollout of the HyperOS 3.0 stable update for approximately 25 different handsets.

This software push comes on the heels of the recent market launch of Xiaomi’s next-generation Ultra flagship. While the new hardware is grabbing headlines, the company’s backend infrastructure suggests a renewed focus on supporting existing users. According to data retrieved from Xiaomi’s main OTA servers, a wide array of smartphones and tablets have been marked as “ready to release,” signaling that the transition from beta to stable builds is imminent.

The Android Version Caveat

While the user interface is being standardized to HyperOS 3.0 across these devices, the underlying operating system will vary. It is important for users to note that not every device on the list will receive the latest Android 16 foundation.

According to the update logs, certain legacy and specific mid-range devices—specifically the Xiaomi Pad 6 series and the Redmi K60—will receive the HyperOS 3.0 experience built atop Android 15. Newer models, however, are expected to jump directly to the Android 16-based build.
