Huawei Watch GT 6 and GT 6 Pro Launched in India: Price, Specs, and Features

Huawei Watch GT 6

Two months after their global debut, Huawei has officially introduced its latest flagship wearables to the Indian market. The technology giant today announced the launch of the Huawei Watch GT 6 and Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro, a lineup designed to blur the line between rugged outdoor trackers and premium lifestyle accessories.

Continuing the GT series’ legacy, the new models double down on endurance and precision, boasting cross-platform compatibility with both Android and iOS, comprehensive health metrics, and a battery life that arguably sets the industry benchmark.

The GT 6 Pro: Titanium Meets Sapphire

Positioned as the premium offering in the portfolio, the Watch GT 6 Pro is built for durability without sacrificing aesthetics. The chassis is crafted from a titanium alloy, capped with sapphire glass to protect the 1.47-inch AMOLED display. This screen is engineered for extreme conditions, offering a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and a blinding peak brightness of 3,000 nits, ensuring legibility even under direct, harsh sunlight.

The Pro model is more than just a dress watch; it is a dedicated multisport tool. It features a specific “Sunflower” GPS positioning system that supports major global satellite networks, including India’s NavIC, ensuring precise tracking for trail runners and hikers. Furthermore, it carries an IP69 rating and supports free diving down to 40 meters.

Under the hood, the Pro is equipped with an advanced sensor suite that includes ECG capabilities and a depth sensor—features exclusive to this tier.

Huawei Watch GT 6: Style in Two Sizes

For users who prioritize a lighter build, the standard Watch GT 6 swaps titanium for a polished stainless-steel case. It is available in two distinct sizes to suit different wrist profiles: a 46mm version (similar in stature to the Pro) and a more compact 41mm variant.

While the 41mm model features a slightly smaller 1.32-inch screen, it retains the high pixel density and outdoor-tuned visibility of its larger siblings. Both versions maintain the core performance architecture of the Pro, including Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and the multi-system GPS with NavIC support, though they lack the specialized diving and ECG hardware.

Unmatched Endurance and Health Tracking

The headline feature for the 46mm variants (both Standard and Pro) is battery longevity. Huawei claims these devices can deliver up to 21 days of usage on a typical charge, or 7 days with the Always-On Display enabled. Even the smaller 41mm model offers a respectable 14-day lifespan.

On the fitness front, Huawei has introduced wrist-based running power and cycling power metrics, eliminating the need for external sensors for casual training. The watches support over 100 sport modes and provide detailed sleep analysis with recovery insights.
