iQOO 15 coming to India. Full Specs, Release Date, and Launch Details Confirmed

iQOO 15

The wait is almost over for performance enthusiasts in India. iQOO today officially confirmed that its next flagship powerhouse, the iQOO 15, will launch in the country in November, hot on the heels of its October 20 debut in China.

The confirmation, which arrived via iQOO India’s official account on X (formerly Twitter), positions India as one of the first international markets to receive the highly anticipated device. While an exact date in November has not yet been disclosed, the announcement signals the brand’s continued focus on the competitive Indian smartphone market.

True to its lineage, the iQOO 15 is engineered as a performance-centric beast. At its heart lies the formidable Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with an upgraded Q3 gaming chip. This potent combination is designed to deliver an uncompromising gaming experience, supporting blistering 144fps gameplay at a sharp 2K resolution.

To manage the immense power and resulting heat, iQOO has developed a new 8K vapor chamber (VC) Dome cooling system. The company claims this state-of-the-art setup utilizes a double layer of high-conductivity graphite, boosting cooling efficiency by a staggering 47 percent over the previous generation. In a bold claim, iQOO’s product manager stated that the VC heat sink inside the iQOO 15 is three times larger than the one found in Apple’s flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The phone’s display specifications are equally ambitious. The iQOO 15 will feature a 6.85-inch 2K 8T LTPO Samsung “Everest” panel. This advanced display supports a fluid 144Hz refresh rate and can achieve an incredible peak local brightness of up to 6,000 nits, promising exceptional clarity even in direct sunlight.

Rounding out the flagship-grade spec sheet are several other key features. The device will be powered by a battery exceeding a massive 7,000mAh and will support wireless charging. It also boasts a top-tier IP69 rating for robust protection against dust and high-pressure water, along with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for faster and more reliable biometric security.

While the Indian variant is expected to largely mirror its Chinese counterpart, it is possible that iQOO may introduce minor regional adjustments, such as variations in storage configurations or battery capacity.
