Oppo A5 5G India Launch: Specs, RAM Variants, and Price Leaks Revealed

After unveiling the Oppo A5 Pro 5G in April, Oppo appears ready to expand its lineup in India with the upcoming Oppo A5 5G. According to a recent SmartPrix report, the brand is gearing up for the device’s official debut in the country. A newly leaked image shows the phone’s front, revealing key specifications on the “About device” screen.

Based on the leak, the Oppo A5 5G will come with a 6.6-inch display featuring a punch-hole design. The device is identified by the model number CPH2751 and will run ColorOS 15.0 based on Android 15. It’s also equipped with Oppo’s Trinity Engine for enhanced performance.

Under the hood, the A5 5G will use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, supported by a robust 6,000mAh battery. The phone will offer 6GB of RAM, 4GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage. Details regarding the camera setup and fast charging specifications have yet to be disclosed.

Given that the Oppo A5 5G is already available in other markets, it’s likely the Indian variant will feature a similar hardware package. Expectations include an LCD panel with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 7i for screen protection. Camera-wise, the device may offer an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a dual rear camera system with 50-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. Other anticipated features are a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 45W fast charging support, and an IP68/IP69-certified chassis for water and dust resistance.

Oppo is expected to release the A5 5G in two variants: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The base model is rumored to launch at a price of Rs 15,499 (approximately $180).
