Oppo Find X9 Ultra Leak Reveals Massive Camera Upgrades and Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Chip

Just a month after the release of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, its successor — the Find X9 Ultra — is already generating buzz, thanks to a new leak from China. The information comes from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, known for early insights on upcoming smartphones.

According to the leak, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is currently in the prototype phase and is set to bring major improvements in the camera department. The upcoming flagship is rumored to include:

• A 200MP main sensor with a large image sensor

• A 50MP ultra-wide lens

• A second 200MP periscope telephoto camera with macro capabilities

• An additional 50MP “super periscope” sensor rumored to support 10x optical zoom

The leak also references model number SM8850, which is expected to be associated with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 — the brand’s next-generation high-end chipset. While the standard Find X9, X9+, and X9 Pro are expected to launch earlier (potentially in October) with MediaTek Dimensity 9500, the Ultra model could arrive in early 2026.

Other rumored specs include a 6.82-inch flat OLED display with 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also expected to run ColorOS 16, based on Android 15, which should be announced in Q3 2025.
