Redmi Note 15 India Price Leaked: Pro+ Model to Start at Rs 38,999

Redmi Note 15 India Price

With the global rollout already underway, the countdown has begun for the Indian debut of the Redmi Note 15 series, scheduled for January 29. While official details are scarce just days before the launch, a substantial leak has surfaced, seemingly confirming the Redmi Note 15 India price strategy and pre-booking incentives for the top-tier Pro+ model.

Breaking the Price Barrier

According to information shared by reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, Redmi is preparing to position the Note 15 Pro+ firmly in the premium mid-range segment. The leak suggests the base variant, equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, will retail for Rs 38,999.

This pricing strategy indicates a shift for the Note series, which has traditionally catered to the budget and lower mid-range markets. With the base model sitting just under the Rs 40,000 threshold, it is all but guaranteed that the higher-tier configurations—12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB—will cross into the Rs 40,000+ territory, placing the device in direct competition with “flagship killer” devices from brands like OnePlus and iQOO.

Pre-Booking Incentives to Sweeten the Deal

To offset the premium price point, Redmi is reportedly bundling significant value additions for early adopters. Pre-booking offers are expected to include a one-year free screen replacement plan—a crucial addition given the curved display—and a complimentary Redmi Watch Move.

The watch alone, which features an AMOLED display, is valued at Rs 1,999, effectively lowering the net cost of the package for early buyers.

Flagship-Grade Specifications

The leaked price point appears to be backed by robust hardware. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is built around a 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED display. This premium panel offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and certifications for both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, all protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Under the hood, the device is expected to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, a significant upgrade in efficiency and processing power. This is paired with a massive 6,500mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging, promising extended endurance for power users.

On the imaging front, the phone features a 200MP primary camera utilizing a Samsung HPE sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 32MP front-facing camera handles selfies.

Durability and Software

Redmi is also doubling down on durability. The device reportedly boasts an impressive array of ingress protection ratings, including IP66, IP68, and IP69/IP69K, making it resistant to high-pressure water jets and submersion.

The phone will ship with Android 15 out of the box, layered with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 custom skin. Additional features include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and multiple eye protection certifications from SGS and TÜV Rheinland.
