Update Your OnePlus: OxygenOS 16 Stable Build Available for Nord Series and Tablets

OnePlus is officially wrapping up its major software distribution cycle. The company has begun pushing the stable version of OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16, to its latest batch of eligible devices. This rollout targets the brand’s popular mid-range lineup and its debut tablet, signaling that the company’s update roadmap is nearing completion.
Starting today, the update is available for the OnePlus Nord CE 4, OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G, and the OnePlus Pad.
Firmware Details and Availability
As is standard practice for OnePlus, the initial rollout has commenced in India, with a broader global expansion expected to follow in the coming days.
The specific firmware versions for the update are as follows:
-
OnePlus Nord CE 4: Version CPH2613_16.0.2.400(EX01)
-
OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G: Version CPH2619_16.0.1.301(EX01)
-
OnePlus Pad: Version OPD2203_16.0.2.400(EX01)
How to Install the Update
Owners of these devices should look out for an OTA (Over-the-Air) notification. You can manually check for availability by navigating to Settings > About Device > Software Update.
For users who prefer not to wait for the staged rollout, OnePlus offers a faster route via the Release Candidate Program. To access this, go to Settings > System & Updates > Software Update > Beta Program, where you can opt-in and click “Update Now” to pull the software immediately.
Pre-Installation Requirements
OxygenOS 16 is a substantial operating system overhaul carrying a file size of several gigabytes. To ensure a smooth installation process, OnePlus recommends the following:
-
Ensure you have at least 5-6GB of free internal storage.
-
Charge your device to at least 40% battery capacity.
-
Create a backup of critical data to prevent accidental loss.
The Final Stretch
With this latest wave, OnePlus has updated the vast majority of its compatible portfolio. Only two devices remain on the waiting list: the former flagship OnePlus 10 Pro 5G and the budget-friendly OnePlus Pad Lite.
Given that it is still early January, industry observers expect OnePlus to conclude the entire OxygenOS 16 rollout before the month ends, maintaining its reputation for relatively swift software support.
